What will pigs of the future be feeding on?
UK pig expert, Mick Hazzledine from Premier Nutrition, has been evaluating legumes, processed animal protein (PAP), rapeseed meal, yeast, maggots and fly larvae, algae and a number of other raw materials to determine whether they could work as cost effective and sustainable feed inputs for pigs in the future, while also helping to offset the environmental challenges associated with pig production.
