Beef and ruminant nutrition expert on the move
Lallemand Animal Nutrition said feed industry veteran, Bruno Martin, has joined the group as ruminant technical support manager for the company’s beef cattle activities in Europe.
Martin has worked for leading feed industries in France and throughout Europe, and has a master’s degree from ENITA Dijon.
His appointment follows that of Dr Kerry Barling, a veterinarian with experience in beef health and microbiology, who is now global manager of beef technology for Lallemand's North American market.
Laurent Dussert, ruminant feed additives category manager at Lallemand, said as the beef sector is facing increasing economic, environmental and societal pressure, producers increasingly rely on external beef nutrition expertise. “Bruno brings strong skills in beef nutrition and an in-depth knowledge of the European market and Kerry expertise in beef health and rumen microbiology in intensive beef cattle systems.”
