ADM makes changes at the top
This month saw commodities giant and animal feed producer, Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), adjust roles at management level.
ADM CEO Juan Luciano, as well as restructuring units, said he has given some executives additional responsibilities.
“We need teams that can quickly flex and form to identify and capture opportunities, focus on what matters, deliver results, and then re-form to address the next set of opportunities,” he said.
Ray Young has been named executive vice president but remains the company’s chief financial officer and will help develop ADM’s business in Asia, said the CEO.
Mark Bemis, senior vice president, becomes president, North America, and also chair a new geographic council that ensures ADM is “leveraging best practices” in all its markets.
Chris Cuddy is now president of ADM’s corn processing business unit, Todd Werpy will take on an expanded role as chief technology officer and Vikram Luthar has been named senior vice president, Strategy.
John McGowan has also been appointed president, North American Oilseeds. ADM said he will add responsibility for the company's regional cotton and canola processing businesses to his role as head of the company’s North American soybean operations.
