AFIA welcomes new faces
The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has seen several new employees start throughout the summer.
AFIA’s Safe Feed/Safe Food certification programs will gather some attention from recent hire Paul Davis. He has started with the association as its new director of quality, animal food safety and education.
His role is set to include work with education and training courses addressing feed production, efficiency and safety.
He previously was the director of feed and animal health with the Tennessee Farmers Cooperative. And he has worked in several nutrition positions and taught at the University of Florida.
Constance Samuels has become the new manager of meetings and events. Her role includes working on planning and executing events, educational programs, meetings and webcasts.
Additionally, the association has seen some internal changes as Veronica Rovelli has moved to become the senior director of meetings and events. She has worked with AFIA since 2008.
Previously she worked with Envison EMI.
