Diamond V sees expansion for poultry, Asia
Diamond V has recruited two new staff members to support ongoing expansion in Asia.
The Iowa-based company, recently acquired by agribusiness giant Cargill, has hired Del Holzer as the new director of poultry business access. It has also taken on Marilyn Sim as the senior consultant for business development, Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan.
In his new position, Holzer will work with broiler companies and market access, the company said.
Before coming to Diamond V, he was the director of global market access in food animals with Elanco Animal Health. And he spent time with several other meat and food industry companies along with starting his own consulting firm.
Prior to working with Diamond V, Sim was the head of animal nutrition at Behn Meyer in Malaysia. Her new position will be based in Kuala Lumpur.
