Arm & Hammer grows ruminant group
Arm & Hammer has been expanding its ruminant-focused team. The microbial and nutrition company announced earlier this year that it had added two new staff members with that focus.
The New Jersey-based company’s two new ruminant account managers are Laura Campbell and Jon Schmidt.
Campbell’s efforts are set to focus on the western region of the US, the company said. She will be based in California.
Prior to starting with Arm & Hammer, Campbell worked with Novus International and has experience with distributor networks and field trial coordination. She also worked with Merial Limited and Novartis Animal Health.
Campbell has a bachelor of science degree in animal science from California Polytechnic State University.
Schmidt area of focus will be in the north central region of the United States. He will be set in Minnesota.
Previously, he has worked for Elanco Animal Health and Chandler Feed Company. His educational background includes a bachelor of arts degree in business administration from Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa.
Both Campbell and Schmidt will be able to provide support for dairy and beef customers regarding nutrition and microbial options. They also will be tasked with expanding awareness of the company in their regions of the US.
