ASA hires new CEO
The American Soybean Association (ASA) has selected Ryan Findlay to be its next CEO.
Findlay was sought after the previous CEO, Stephen Censky, was confirmed by the US Senate as the deputy secretary of agriculture. Censky left the position in October.
Findlay’s background is in farming, and he earned an undergraduate degree from Western Michigan University and an MBA from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan.
Previously, he worked on farm operation issues for Syngenta and had a seven-year tenure with the Michigan Farm Bureau where he was involved in two farm bills, worked with international trade and on climate change and regulatory issues.
The ASA represents soybean farmers on both international and domestic policy issues.
