Zinpro welcomes new faces
Hans Aae joins US trace mineral player, Zinpro Corporation, as swine business manager – Europe, Russia and South Africa. The company said this newly created position is about providing business, nutritional and technical sales support for the swine industry in those markets, while boosting its trace mineral sales there.
Aae has more than 25 years of feed industry experience, most recently as a research and development director for a major European cooperative serving swine producers across Europe, as well as globally. He has extensive experience both as a feed nutritionist and with on-farm management consultancy, said Zinpro.
The company also added Lewis Liu as a technical sales manager for China to address customer needs in that market.
Previously, Liu worked for a major animal feed supplier where he had multiple roles including swine feed technical service manager and product technical manager. Liu earned his master’s degree in animal husbandry from Shenyang Agricultural University and his undergraduate degree in animal nutrition and feed science from Henan Agricultural University.
Zinpro has also hired Raphael Chan as a dairy research nutritionist. He will be based in Beijing.
In this role, Chan will provide technical nutrition services along with support to dairy customers and Zinpro sales team members in North Asia.
Chan earned his doctorate in ruminant nutrition from the University of Arizona, his master’s degree in dairy science from Clemson University and his bachelor’s degree from Taiwan Chung-Hsing University. He specializes in heat stress nutrition and management, calf nutrition and management and transition-cow nutrition and management.
Before coming to Zinpro, Chan was vice general manager and chief technology officer for a major global feed company and taught in the department of animal sciences at Chinese Culture University in Taiwan.
