The poultry industry today faces a raft of challenges on antibiotic usage as well as antimicrobial resistance. The sector is also looking for answers on how to tackle issues such as dysbiosis, wet litter or footpad lesions.

Our forum will explore, among other topics, the impact of certain feed additives on growth performance, cecal microbiota and the immune response of birds.

The speakers will also show how the integrity of the intestinal wall in chickens is critical, and is often at the mercy of pathogens or mycotoxins or coccidiostats as well as poor feed quality and enteric viruses.

We will have four short presentations from our speakers to kick off. Our panel includes the University of Ghent’s Professor Richard Ducatelle, Ade Adebiyi, a poultry nutritionist at ABN, the compound feed business of AB Agri in the UK, René Kwakkel, associate professor, poultry nutrition at Wageningen University, and Norwegian animal nutrition consultant, Tone Martinsen.

A discussion will follow their presentations and then it is over to you, the listener, to ask the experts your burning questions in our live Q&A session.
