COVID-19: FEFAC event put back to autumn

“As COVID-19 is quickly spreading around the world, our number one concern is the health and safety of delegates, speakers, exhibitors and staff.
Therefore, after careful consideration, the organising committee has decided to postpone the XXIX FEFAC Congress to September 24-25, 2020,” said the EU feed industry trade representatives.
There is no change to the venue – it remains the FMCCA or the Elisabeth Centre, in Antwerp.
FEFAC said it will continue to monitor the situation and follow all the latest information and advice from the Belgian authorities, as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).
The program is as originally proposed.
“However, given the fact that COVID-19 will have an enormous impact on all of us, but also on our businesses, we will schedule a workshop on September 24, dedicated to COVID-19 impacts, Lessons to be learnt,” said the organizing committee.
FEFAC said for those who have already registered, their registration will automatically be changed to the new dates.
“You don’t have to take any action. We will send you an email with your status of subscription. If you are unable to come, please let us know by mail at this address: fefaccongress2020@bfa.be”
Registrations are open until August 23, 2020, said the trade group.
FEFAC has also compiled an online FAQ on the event, which is said addresses attendees’ most pressing concerns in relation to the rescheduling of the event.
