SugaRich sees new procurement director
UK based, SugaRich, the former foodstuffs to feed processor, has appointed Bill Hamilton to the role of procurement director for its business. In that role, he will be responsible for the strategic leadership of resource procurement, recovering surplus foods to repurpose, and liaising with customers from varied sectors of the food manufacturing industry to grow and maintain SugaRich’s standing and market share.
“I look forward to a fresh challenge in my career as I embark on my new role with SugaRich. I have every confidence in my experience and expertise to be able to contribute to the continued success of the business. I am delighted to be joining such an effective team, and a business that puts its customers first and is striving to reduce food waste in the UK.”
The company outlined how Hamilton brings more than 20 years of experience with him, predominantly in the food manufacturing sector, with experience in animal feed as well as feedstock management for the anaerobic digestion (AD) industry.
He joins SugaRich from Biffa, where he was the head of commercial AD for six years. Previous to that role, he held the position of commercial director at Nutrafeed for six years and was head of sales at SRCL for three years prior to that.
