French animal nutrition group, Neovia, said it is planning acquisitions in Asia in the coming 12 months but it would not disclose in which markets or in which livestock segments it was focusing its efforts in that regard.
Olam International said it has broken ground on an integrated feed mill, poultry breeding farm and hatchery in Kaduna State, Nigeria. When completed, it will be the largest such operation of its kind in the African country.
France’s InVivo group said it has attracted €215m ($235.3m) from investors for its animal health and nutrition division, InVivo NSA, led by private equity firm Eurazeo, now confirmed as the leading minority shareholder in that business.
InVivo NSA has ambitions to accelerate the development of its premix and feed business in the lucrative Asian market, through intensified export activity from its Vietnam base, a push on laboratory analysis services and acquisition.
