Jointly Working on More Sustainable Livestock and Aquaculture Production

The last ten years have seen a shift in demands from society: Consumers increasingly care about sustainability and topics like climate change and energy. Resource and cost efficiency are top of the agenda around the world. How can we all along the value chain contribute to more sustainable livestock and aquaculture? What is the key to produce more with less? Which role does feed play in this respect? Today we might not have all the answers to the questions the future will bring with it, but doubtlessly it’s a journey we all need to go together: suppliers, producers, retailers and consumers. At BASF we see ourselves as an integral part of working on solutions addressing these challenges of the future.By even better understanding market needs and collaborations we seek to provide solutions that address our customer’s business and sustainability needs. For example, our phytase and organic acid product lines demonstrates how to simultaneously address financial and environmental challenges in livestock and aquaculture feeding. In our webinar on October 8th, 2014, we want to explain how feed additives enable sustainable livestock and aquaculture production and get into a discussion on that with you.
