The American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) has come out in support of a bill that it says offers a new way for the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to evaluate feed additives and spur innovation in the US livestock sector.

US academic recognized for animal feed enzyme work

In recognition of his pioneering work on livestock nutrition, Xingen Lei, professor of animal science at Cornell College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) was named a Fellow of the US National Academy of Inventors (NAI) on December 7.

Lift off for US feed sustainability project
