European renewable ethanol association (ePURE) members produced 5.6bn liters of ethanol and 5.33m tons of co-products in 2019, including 3.83m tons of high-protein, GMO-free DDGS for use in feed, according to new audited data from the industry group.
European feed sector representatives said the sector ready to support the EU’s Green deal, while outlining the work it has already done to realize more sustainable feed and livestock production.
