COCERAL elects new president
COCERAL, the European association of trade in cereals, oilseeds, rice, pulses, olive oil, oils and fats, animal feed and agrosupply, recently held its general assembly, with Ted Swinkels [pictured] elected as its new president during the proceedings.
Swinkels is managing director of Cefetra, an organization that supplies agricultural raw materials to the animal nutrition, food ingredients and energy industries. It is part of the German Baywa Group.
Giorgio Dalla Bona, CEO of grain and oilseed trading company, Cereal Docks International, was re-elected vice-president after completing a four-year term.
Oriol Serrahima, managing director, grains, EMEA, at Cargill, was also elected vice-president.
Jean-Paul Schepens, CEO of Schepens & Co, a trading house based in Antwerp that is specialized in rice, coffee, and other commodities, was elected treasurer.
