Adisseo expands poultry team with focus on management
Adisseo is expanding its North and Central American regional teams with three new additions, the company said.
Felipe Navarro, James Barton and Jeff Lewis are new US office hires.
Navarro will come in as the new director of marketing where he will supervise work of the poultry and ruminant teams for North America and Central America, said Adisseo.
He has a Master’s in business administration from the New York Institute of Technology, studied marketing at Columbia Business School and earned a DVM from the National University of Mexico, Mexico City.
Navarro is also a member of the American Association of Avian Pathologists (AAAP) and American Association of Swine Veterinarians.
Before Adisseo, he worked for several companies in the US and Latin America, including Boehringer Ingelheim, Alpharma Animal Health, Novus International, Zinpro Corporation and Idexx Laboratories.
Barton is set to be the company’s new technical manager for poultry, a position that focuses on offering technical support to producers in the southeast US. He has had a 27-year career spanning work in the areas of animal welfare, probiotics, sustainable production and emergency disease preparation. Previously, he has worked as a veterinarian with several US broiler, breeder and turkey companies.
Lewis will be Adisseo's new business manager for poultry accounts in eastern Texas, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia.
Prior to joining Adisseo, he spent 12 years at Cargill Animal Nutrition. He earned a degree in economics from St John’s University, and an MBA in leadership and management from California State University, Stanislaus.
Chinese owned Adisseo has seven research centers along with production sites based in Europe and China where it designs and produces ingredients for animal feed. The company has more than 1,900 employees, and sales in more than 100 countries through its global distribution network.
