A new online service aims to provide data on how best to preserve feed and forage.

The platform is an initiative of Swedish organic acid producer, Perstorp. It says it wants to raise the bar in terms of preservation and feed hygiene.

The website, it said, will cover topics such as mold inhibition, mycotoxin prevention, feed hygiene, silage and TMR preservation.

Lisanne Epping, content manager for Perstorp’s preservation portfolio, told us the company sensed a strong need for such a data sharing platform in the market.

“There is no [other] website in English that is specialized in this area. We have the knowledge about these topics and it is important that we share what we know.”

The company said the platform will be regularly updated with technical information and will include hands-on advice.
