Joe Stone, a member of Cargill’s executive team, chief risk officer and head of the company’s animal nutrition business, has been elected to the Cargill Board of Directors.
Commenting, David MacLennan, Cargill CEO, said: “Since joining our company 31 years ago, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to developing people and a culture of teamwork and high performance. He led two of our company’s most significant acquisitions: the $2bn purchase in 2011 of Provimi, followed in 2015 by the $1.6bn acquisition of EWOS.”
Also on the agribusiness’s board of directors are: Richard Anderson, retired chairman of Delta Air Lines, Louis Chênevert, retired CEO of United Technologies Corporation, Arthur Collins, retired CEO of Medtronic, Stephen Hemsley, CEO of UnitedHealth Group, Bernard Poussot, retired CEO of Wyeth and Trudy Rautio, retired CEO of Carlson.
