Former Wilbur Ellis compliance expert joins Calysta
Gas to protein producer, Calysta, has appointed Tomas Belloso to the post of vice president of regulatory affairs.
He reports to Josh Silverman, chief product innovation officer, who said: “Tomas Belloso brings to Calysta over a decade of senior regulatory, quality and product management experience in the feed and animal health industries,” Dr. Silverman said.
Prior to this role, Belloso worked as regulatory compliance manager at the feed division of Wilbur-Ellis, a $3bn international marketer and distributor of agricultural products, feed and specialty chemicals and ingredients.
He has also held senior regulatory and product management positions at Royal Canin US, as well as Nestle Purina, Monsanto and Elanco Animal Health.
