Cobb-Vantress appoints Elanco heavy weight as president
Cobb-Vantress, a subsidiary of Tyson Foods, has made Joyce Lee its new president.
Lee, who will report to David Bray, Tyson Foods’ group president of poultry, joins Cobb after serving as executive VP and president of the US$1.5bn US pet health and commercial operations portfolio for Elanco.
She joined Elanco through its acquisition of Bayer Animal Health in 2020.
At Bayer Animal Health, Lee was the president of the North America segment and, according to Cobb-Vantress, delivered significant growth in its commercial operations, surpassing more than US$750m in sales and exceeding market e-commerce growth by 80%.
Lee also spent more than 16 years at Zoetis, formerly known as Pfizer Animal Health, in various roles, including executive vice president and area president of Canada and Latin America, helping Zoetis manage its IPO and spin-off from Pfizer in 2013.
And she currently serves on the board of animal and human nutrition supplier, Balchem Corporation.
