US animal health company, Jaguar, has signed a supply and distribution deal for its Croton lechleri botanical extract with California-based Integrated Animal Nutrition and Health Inc.

The distribution alliance will see the extract targeted at the dairy, cattle and pigs sectors within China.

The deal came about, said Jaguar, after the positive results it announced in July on two studies to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the botanical extract in piglets on trial farms in China.

Integrated Animal Nutrition and Health is to take on all activities and costs related to product registrations, marketing authorizations, and customs clearances for the Chinese market, said Jaguar.
