Ajinomoto rebrands North American animal feed ingredient business

Ajinomoto Co. is in the process of rolling out a global brand logo and rebranding several companies to strengthen overall global awareness.

Three of the company’s North American-focused businesses, Ajinomoto Heartland, Inc., Ajinomoto Windsor, Inc. and Ajinomoto North America, Inc. are rebranding.

The company’s animal feed ingredient affiliate Ajinomoto Heartland will be known as Ajinomoto Animal Nutrition North America, Inc. starting next month.

The renaming was to ensure brand consistency in North America, said the group.

A representative told us the Ajinomoto Heartland name change makes it easier for the nature of its business to be understood.  

The name change is not expected have any legal effects and all contracts with the business continue, said the spokesperson.

A new global brand logo is intended to provide consistency for all of the company’s business activities and brands, said the company.
