Canadian plant protein specialist Burcon NutraScience says it remains confident of finding a new partner to commercialize its canola proteins after it emerged that ADM will not now be taking the proteins to market – after eight years of talks.
Kyowa Hakko Europe is to increase prices across its range of
L-amino acids by ten per cent as of April 1, in an effort to stave
off margin deterioration and ensure long-term availability of the
ingredients.
Kyowa Hakko has developed a new fermentation process for the
production of the L-tyrosine, which will open up the amino acid's
use in nutritional products of non-animal origin and may help grow
